In 2007, it served 25.9 million passengers and it is estimated that with current renovations, the airport will be able to handle up to 32 million passengers yearly.
The airport offers a variery of lodging options for passengers, including a Hilton hotel in Terminal 1 and two adjacent hotels, the Camino Real and Fiesta Hotel. An NH hotel is planned for Terminal 2.
