The airport is located 6 NM (11 km/6.9 mi) west of Glasgow city centre, near the towns of Paisley and Renfrew in Renfrewshire, Scotland.
Currently, the airport is easily accessed by road thanks to the adjoining M8 motorway and is served by a frequent and dedicated express bus from the city centre.
Glasgow International Airport is a hub airport for Loganair, easyJet and Flyglobespan, and also houses maintenance facilities for British Airways.
Passenger numbers are expected to reach over 24 million per annum by 2030 following the execution of current expansion plans.
